You can spice up the meat with some curry, paprika and cumin. I kept them plain with oregano, salt and pepper. This is a fun dish for kids. They love eating them, so they are pretty quick in making them. I broil them in oven, you can put them on a grill as well. Just greese well and do not turn before they cook well or they will fall apart. Enjoy!
